One seizure and a power outage later…
We finally saw Prometheus!
But only after we missed the 7:00 showing and sat through the every single preview without audio. But it’s all good. We made shadow puppets on the screen while they rebooted the computer and I almost peed my pants laughing.
So yeah. How crazy is this shit? Moments after pulling out of our driveway to head to the theater we realized that we were trapped in our gated community! We must have lost power just as we were walking out to the car. Fortunately, one of our neighbors managed to get the gates to open manually and we were able to catch the later show. I’ve never been trapped inside my neighborhood before. I still can’t believe they don’t have battery backups or something? It was kind of alarming.
GREAT movie. And holy shit, I’m totally going to have nightmares tonight.
