I am dreading the next 8 weeks.
My counterpart at the office had her baby 2 weeks early and I’m about to get inundated with her entire workload. I have already been slammed for several weeks, and so has she. I have no idea how I’m going to handle all her work, and mine. The worst part is that the kids are on summer break so instead of sneaking off early to take them swimming in our pool, I can hardly even take a potty break.
Busy is good. I know this. It’s just no fun.
