Kia Sorento is awesome. Many seats, much room, not a minivan.

I think the Sorrento is a bit out of my price range. I’m trying to stay close to $20K. It’s funny that you’d suggest Kia because drove a Sportage last night! It was nice but it could have used some more pep (I’m spoiled from driving a Turbo).

My experience with the dealer was pretty terrible actually. I’d made an appt to test drive the car but when I got there the guy had gone home! So then, they sent out the “other internet guy” and the dude is like 80 years old. 3 computers later he finally enters my info in the computer and admits to having never heard of this “$9000 off with trade-in” deal I mentioned. They were running the deal last week and I even called before making my appt to double check that it was still running, and the receptionist said yes! Then, the guy made us walk 4 parking lots away to where the Sportages were parked and guess what, no Sportages. They only had THREE on the entire property and 2 of them weren’t even cleared for test drives because they had just arrived and needed to be prepped. It was pretty ridiculous. I won’t rule out a Kia, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be going back there.

It only seats 4.  There’s a fixed console/cup holder between the two rear seats!

Grrrrrrr. 

I really need a 6 seater, but most are out of my price range. I definitely cannot go below 5. Back to the drawing board.

Joining a conference call 15 minutes late like a boss!

I’ve haven’t been able to catch up on my dash since last week,  can someone please fill me in on this Tumblr Staff spam I’m getting regarding that bullshit Apple Products Giveaway?  I’m deleting the third submission now.

Is there anything I can do to make it stop. I mean, it’s not legit, right?

That time I had a dream that someone composed a list of “Top 100 Most Dazed and Confused on Twitter”

and two of you were in the top 10.

And on the way to the car when his family was saying their goodbyes to the boys, she hugged me. In fact, they all hugged me (except the ex). I was shocked. In May, it will be 2 years since our split, and this is the first time that we’ve spent any amount of time together as a family.  I love them all so much. I never wanted to give them up, but it’s par for the course I suppose.

Last year, they planned separate birthday parties for the boys because they didn’t want to include me. It was heartbreaking, but I understood. This year, my ex decided to include me (and my sister) in their plan at the last minute. I was thrilled that they may finally be past the ‘crucifixion phase’, but I was still nervous that there could be drama.

I was a little worried that he’d ruin things by trying to make me jealous, or show me up somehow to put me in my place. But he did nothing of the sort. I was amazed. I didn’t detect a single ounce of discomfort from his family either, which was awesome. I like the girlfriend. She seems like a good fit. During the party, she and I had several conversations about the family and my boys. She’s sweet and I’m genuinely happy for them.  I want nothing more than for him to have what I have. It was all I could do not to thank her for helping him move forward. They’re actually talking about moving in together this June, when she relocates to be near him! 

This day has been a huge success in many ways. I’m so happy and relieved!!!!!  =D

Okay epilepsy. If he’s gonna continue to wake me like he did this morning after you’ve had your way with him, I’ll back off a little.

Why you pick the 50 hr work week/birthday weekend to fuck with him?

That time you accidentally hit the call button on your office communicator chat without realizing it and you suddenly hear someone talking to you over the Store N Forward Podcast that’s blaring from your speakers…

So you cancel the call button and your totally hot co-worker replies to the chat with “are you having a rave at your house today?”

Dying.

Of all weeks to push 50 hours, it would be the fucking week I spend 3 days recovering from my Key West hangover and preparing for 7’s birthday weekend. 

UGH.

My baby boy turns 7 today.
